Un patrón de hematomas óseos bien definido y consistente que involucra la meseta tibial posterior y el cóndilo femoral central del compartimiento lateral está presente en los futbolistas que sufrieron lesiones del LCA indirectas y sin contacto durante el giro con cambio repentino de dirección/desaceleración, mientras que los patrones heterogéneos estaban presentes en aquellos con contacto directo o mecanismos de lesión que impliquen alta velocidad horizontal.
