Primera fusión metatarsofalángica con placa dorsal: resultados clínicos

La fusión de la primera articulación metatarsofalángica (MTPJ) es la técnica más eficaz para el tratamiento de la artritis primaria MTPJ, el hallux valgus severo y el fracaso de la cirugía correctiva primaria de estas afecciones.

Incluso si todavía existe un debate sobre el mejor sistema para la fusión de MTPJ, creemos que la fusión de copa y cono con placa dorsal es un método eficaz. Además, la estabilidad de la osteosíntesis obtenida permite la carga de peso postoperatoria inmediata, lo que permite al paciente volver pronto a su vida normal.
