- El objetivo principal de este estudio fue determinar las tasas de retorno al trabajo (RTW) y al deporte (RTS) después de una fractura de la diáfisis humeral. El objetivo secundario fue identificar los factores asociados de forma independiente con el fracaso de RTW o RTS.
- La mayoría de los pacientes regresan con éxito al trabajo y al deporte después de una fractura de la diáfisis humeral, aunque con un nivel más bajo de actividad física. Los pacientes de ≥ 60 años y aquellos con fracturas diafisarias del tercio proximal tienen un mayor riesgo de no volver a la actividad.
